Campus Features

As a student at the Bertrand Crossing Campus in Niles, you'll have access to a broad range of services such as academic advising, skills assessment, financial aid information, and veterans services. Recent renovations have brought state-of-the-art Biology, Chemistry, and Dental Assisting Labs and flexible learning spaces.

Bookstore
The Barnes and Noble Bookstore at the Bertrand Crossing Campus opened in August 2013. Call the bookstore at (269) 695-2807 for hours.

Bulletin Boards
The College has the right to authorize the posting or distribution of on-campus signs, pictures, posters, printed materials, literature, or other displays by individuals or groups. This authorization, whether provided or withheld, is intended to enhance the educational climate and opportunities available to students, faculty, and staff to keep display areas neat and orderly.

All posted materials should:

  • be clear and accurate.
  • not explicitly or implicitly impugn a population or group, or support an activity that would do the same.
  • in general intent, support the College's mission of meeting the educational, vocational, cultural, wellness, and recreational needs of the community.

Check in the office, room 101, prior to posting any material.

Campus Tours
Tours are offered on an appointment basis. Approximately 45-60 minutes are required for each tour. Appointments for the Bertrand Crossing Campus can be scheduled by calling (269) 695-1391.

Computer Labs
The Student Open Computing Lab is located in room BC102. Hours will be established and posted at the beginning of each semester. (Please review the Acceptable Use of Technology Policy)

Copy Machines
Copies are available in the Bertrand Campus office for twenty cents per copy. Please ask for assistance.

Fitness Trail
The walking trail is located south of the building and is available for students, staff, and faculty pleasure.

Lockers
Lockers for use by students with disabilities are available around campus by contacting Student Services in Room 101.

Lost & Found
Located in the office, room 101.

Parking
Student parking is available in the front of the building on the west side and in the rear of the building. Special parking permits or stickers are not required.

Reserving Facilities
Contact the office at the Bertrand Crossing Campus at (269) 695-1391.

Student Lounge
The Student Lounge is located in Room 100.

Student Services Office
The Student Services staff are available in Room 101 to provide assistance with applying for admission, registration, academic advising, paying tuition, financial aid, scholarship information, purchasing Dial-A-Ride tickets, tutoring assistance, transcript information and graduation information.

Study Areas
Tables, chairs, and cubicles are available in the main hallway. Large monitors are available in room 106 for group collaboration and individual use.

Transportation
For Dial-A-Ride to and from the Bertrand Crossing Campus on a reservation basis, call (269) 684-5150 for fees and reservations.

Vending
Snack and beverage vending machines are available in the student commons, near the restrooms.
