Join an existing club or group.
Volunteer your time to make your community a better place.

It is important to give back. Each LMC Club must sponsor at least one community service activity per academic year that benefits the college or greater community. For more information on volunteering opportunities, please contact the Volunteer Center of Southwest Michigan or check out these out opportunities:

Start your own club.

Do you want to rally with other to protect the environment? Start a Go Green Club. Do you like expressing yourself? Form a Writers' Club. Want to sharpen your career skills? Be a founding member to a club related to your major. It's really up to you!

Because trends change from year to year, and sometimes semester to semester, the Office of Student Life remains flexible to student’s requests to form new clubs and organizations based on levels of interests. Contact the director of student life in room A-200a or call (269) 927-8150 for more information.

Not only is starting a club easy, it’s a great way to build your resume, sharpen your leadership skills and have something interesting to talk about when you apply to a 4-year college or interview for a job. So, go ahead – get started!

  1. Pick up a Club/Organization Charter Application and a Club/Organization Constitution.
  2. Recruit a campus advisor. It can be any LMC faculty or staff member who is willing to help out.
  3. Meet and have fun!
