The Life and Times of Scouting’s Camp Madron at LMC’s Bertrand Crossing Campus

NILES, MI – For more than 50 years, Camp Madron served as the heart and soul of scouting in Southwestern Michigan. Local historian Jim Ellis will trace the history of Madron from its founding in 1926 through its eventual sale in 1984 at a presentation at Lake Michigan College’s Bertrand Crossing Campus. A broad selection of Madron memorabilia will also be displayed to help former Madron campers and staff in their walk down memory lane.
