Lake Michigan College offers students opportunities to compete in a variety of intercollegiate sports. Baseball, soccer and basketball are offered for men; basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball for women. Lake Michigan College is a member of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and the National Junior College Athletic Association. Students are urged to follow their interests outside the classroom in a variety of clubs and organizations such as the LMC Soccer Club, the LMC cheer team, the Student Nursing Association, Student Senate, Phi Theta Kappa, and various other clubs. Because trends change from year to year, and sometimes semester to semester, the Office of Student Life remains flexible to student requests to form new clubs and organizations based on levels of interests.
