SOUTH HAVEN, MI – Lake Michigan College’s South Haven Campus is offering several Community Education classes in November. The following is a sampling of classes offered. DIY Jewelry Making 3 - Chain Maille
Learn the ancient craft of Chain Maille weaving and experience the intricate patterns that are still beautiful today. This class will briefly discuss the history, wire specifications, necessary tools, supplies, and techniques to create wearable works of art. Samples of three beginning patterns will be presented and practiced. Students will choose one pattern to complete a bracelet, plus earrings. The instructor for this class, the DIY Jewelry Making 1 – Basics class, and the DIY Jewelry Making 2 – Wire Wrapping class has experience in many different jewelry mediums.

Perfect Holiday Pies
A hands-on session working with a skilled instructor to make and enjoy a few of the season’s favorite pies. Attendees will be asked to tell what their favorite pie is at the time of registration.
