Tragedy in a Theatre: The Lincoln Assassination

This year (2015) marks the 150th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Please join us for a look at the motives behind the murder, the manhunt for the conspirators, the assassination’s impact on American Politics, and the resulting iconic worship of a fallen statesman. Tim Moore, an LMC History instructor for the past twelve years, has done several Community Education presentations including a biography of Abraham Lincoln and of Theodore Roosevelt, an examination of Watergate, and a ranking of U.S. presidents. This session promises to be gripping and informative!
