Registration Now Available for February’s Community Education Classes

NILES, MI – Lake Michigan College’s Bertrand Crossing Campus is offering several Community Education classes in February. The following is a sample of classes offered. 

U.S. Presidents: The Great, Near-Great, and Not-So-Great.
Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding, Harry Truman, Andrew Johnson, George Washington, Ronald Reagan, and Thomas Jefferson. Where do these and other chief executives rank in the Presidential Ratings Game?

Come learn what makes an owl an owl! How are they different and how are they the same as other birds? This class will take a look at the different owls that live right here in Berrien County. Participants will learn some basic identification tricks for each one. “Hoot” is geared toward people with little to no birding experience. Kids aged 11+ are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. This course is offered in partnership with Fernwood Botanical Gardens.
