BENTON TOWNSHIP, MI – The public is invited to celebrate the first residential living at Lake Michigan College, Beckwith Hall, on Friday, July 11, 2014, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Tours of the furnished rooms, fitness center, and common areas will be available, led by the resident assistants. Tours will also be available of the rest of the campus, and prospective students are invited to learn about student life and talk to academic advisors and financial aid counselors.
“We are so proud of this beautiful new building, and our commitment to making Beckwith Hall a place where students will be academically successful is just as strong as our investment in the brick and mortar,” said Vice President of Student Services, Dr. Clinton Gabbard. “I hope anyone interested seeing first hand this wonderful community we’re creating will come to the grand opening.”
Welcoming students this fall, Beckwith Hall will house 188 residents in fully furnished, private bedroom configurations in 2- or 4- bedroom options with full kitchens. Living at LMC will feature access control and security patrols, in-suite washer and dryer, 42” flat panel televisions, and the opportunity to make life-long connections with friends and classmates.
Housing is contracted through individual leases and assistance through financial aid is available if the student is qualified.
