Napier Avenue Campus Facilities
ATM
An ATM operated by Chemical Bank Shoreline is located east of
the Barnes and Noble Bookstore on the first floor of the main
academic building.
Bulletin Boards
The College has the right to authorize the posting or distribution
of on-campus signs, pictures, posters, printed materials, literature,
or other displays by individuals or groups. This authorization,
whether provided or withheld, is intended to enhance the educational
climate and opportunities available to students, faculty, and
staff to keep display areas neat and orderly.
All posted materials should:
- be clear and accurate.
- not explicitly or implicitly impugn a population or group,
or support an activity that would do the same.
- in general intent, support the College's mission of meeting
the educational, vocational, cultural, wellness, and recreational
needs of the community.

Campus Tours
Tours are offered on an appointment basis. Approximately 45-60
minutes are required for each tour. Appointments for the Napier
Avenue Campus can be arranged by calling the Executive Dean, Student
Services, (269) 927-8120.
Computer Labs
You have access to 75 computers in the Student Open Computing
Labs in Room B-303. These computers are available to you only
if you are a part-time or full-time Lake Michigan College student.
Hours for fall and winter are: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 10pm;
Friday, 8am - 5pm; and Saturday, 9am - 1pm. Spring semester hours
are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 10pm. The lab is closed Friday and
Saturday. The Student Open Computing Lab is open Tuesday - Thursday,
8am - 10pm during the summer semester. (Please review the Responsible
Use of Technology Policy)
Copy Machines
The library provides a variety of copiers and printers for student
use, such as plain-paper copiers, a color copier, microfiche and
microfilm readers/printers.
Elevators
There are three elevators in the main academic building, located
in C-Wing, west of Barnes & Noble Bookstore; in B-Wing; and
in L-Wing near the Library entrance.
Fitness Trail
The fitness trail starts at the southwest corner of campus, between
the tennis courts and the west parking lot. The fitness course
includes 20 exercise stations that take participants through the
three-phases of a fitness program, including warm-up, conditioning,
and cool-down. The exercise course is 1.4 miles long with an optional
one-mile extension. It is open to students and the public at all
times, every day of the week.
Lockers
Lockers for use by handicapped students are located in the first
floor subway near B-Wing in the main academic building. Contact
the Office of Special Populations in room C205a, or call (269)
927-8100 ext. 5192.
Lost & Found
Contact the Information Center in the Richard J. Pappas Student
Services Center.
Public Telephones
Public pay phones are located:
- in the lobby in front of the Richard J. Pappas Student Services
Center
- in the first floor subway area near B-Wing and adjacent to
the ATM machine
- outside the main entrance near the flagpoles.

Study Areas
LMC provides both formal and informal study areas for students.
Tables and chair have been placed in center stairwells. For more
formal study, individual carrels are available in the Library.
Transportation
Dial-A-Ride furnishes bus service to and from the Napier Avenue
Campus on a regularly scheduled basis during the fall and winter
semesters, with pick-up and drop-off in front of the main campus
building near the first floor lobby area. Hours for drop-off are
Monday - Thursday, 8am, 10am, and noon. Hours for pick-up are
3pm, 6pm, and 9:30pm. On Friday, the last pick-up is a 3pm. Dial-A-Ride
furnishes bus service to and from campus on a per call basis during
the spring and summer semesters.
Phone (269) 927-4461 to request transportation. If you require
special assistance, you will be picked up and dropped off at the
rear of the main campus building near Shipping & Receiving.
Cost for transportation to and from Benton Harbor is 75 cents.
The cost to and from Benton Township, St. Joseph, and St. Joseph
Township is $1. Tickets may be purchased from the Cashier's Office,
room A207.
Vending
Food and beverage vending machines are available on 2nd floor
B-Wing and in the student commons area in the Hall of Pride (1st
floor).
