Certificate and Degree Options - Computer Information Systems

Associate's Degree
A total of 63 credit hours are required to earn an Associate in Applied Business degree in Computer Information Systems programs (information, networking, programming). Coursework includes general college requirements, support courses, required CIS courses, and electives.

Additional Associate in Applied Business degrees require an additional 15 credit hours of new coursework with emphasis in the second options area.

Transfer Options
Many computer information systems careers require bachelor or master degrees. If you are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university, it is essential that you work with a counselor or academic advisor to develop an individual program that meets the specific requirements of the college you plan to attend.
