Co-Ops and Practical Experience - Accounting

Co-op experience is an elective for Lake Michigan College's Accounting program. You will work in an approved accounting position to gain on-the-job training. Along with the required 15 hours of work per week, you will meet with an advisor for an hour to discuss your progress.

You must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 to be eligible for co-op.

Your co-op can be paid or unpaid. The key is to work with LMC's co-op coordinator to verify that the co-op experience you are choosing meets the requirement of giving you the practical experience in the accounting field.
