Lake Michigan College offers certificate
and associate's
degree programs for Drafting and Design students.
Certificate Program
The one-year, 32-credit certificate qualifies you to work as a
helper for engineers and designers on jobs like the preparation
of blueprints, tracings, and inking of masters. Courses in this
program can be transferred to the associate's degree program.
Associate Degree Program
Completion of the 61-credit associate's degree program qualifies
you to work directly with a design engineer on jobs such as conceptual
product design and layout. Graduates of this program receive an
Associate of Industrial Technology Degree
Transfer Degree Program
The associate degree in drafting and design transfers to Ferris
State University's Manufacturing Engineering Technology
and Product Design Engineering Technology programs. See your

Occupational Education Studies
This program articulates with the Occupational Education Studies
(OES) program at Western Michigan
University to prepare certified vocational teachers for high
school, technical centers and community colleges. If you think you
