Management

and Lodging Association, in the United States, tourism is currently
the third largest retail industry, behind automotive and food
stores. Travel and tourism industries are one of America's largest
employers.

which to choose in the hotel, restaurant, resort, and tourism
industries.

Typical work settings are found in hotels, motels, resorts, hospitals,
schools, universities, office buildings, health care facilities,
and tourist attractions. Because many of these businesses are

be full- or part-time.
