Industrial Maintenance Technology

Properly running machinery is vital in any industrial facility. Inoperative machines will result in delayed production. Equipment that is not properly maintained may damage the product being produced. This all adds up to lost profits and reduced competitiveness for business.

So, who fixes a broken piece of production machinery?

Who performs preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on factory equipment?

Industrial mechanics are responsible for keeping things in good working order in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

If you have knack for fixing things and enjoying figuring out how things run, check out the Industrial Maintenance Technology program at Lake Michigan College.
