Machine Tool Technology

Look around. Everything from the cars and motorcycles on the road to the appliances in our homes have something in common: they are made of parts manufactured with the skill and knowledge of machine tool professionals.

This region has a strong connection with the tool and die cast industry. There is a large concentration of die cast companies in our area partially due to the automotive industry. As the industry becomes more reliant on computerized production processes, companies are looking for well-trained, knowledgeable individuals to hire for well-paying jobs.

If you are interested in a high-tech career where you can be an important part of the manufacturing process, look to the Machine Tool Technology program at Lake Michigan College to provide you with the skills and experience you'll need.
