"My life changed when I took Intermediate Algebra
at Lake Michigan College...I finally understood math.
It took me many years and the right teacher to have math
finally make sense.
With the success I found in the classroom, I applied
that knowledge to my job in the Math Center. Seeing the
faces of the students light up when they understand a
concept makes me feel like I've made a difference in their
lives.
Even now, after I've transferred to Western Michigan
University, I come back to work in the Math Center. LMC
has a magnetic pull that I can't explain."
