Philosophy

What is time? The obvious answer could arrive by looking at your watch and uttering back an answer. But, to a philosophical mind, there are countless answers. Every person has a different view on life, therefore a different view on what the answer is. In essence, every person has the ability to have a personal philosophy on any aspect of life.

Philosophy is a challenge to every day thought. Aristotle once said, "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."

The Philosophy program at Lake Michigan College will challenge your way of processing thought and your overall approach to thinking. You will develop critical thinking skills that, no matter what career you desire to have, will be applicable.
