Community and Business Services
Lake Michigan College’s Community and Business Services is
dedicated to the training needs of area businesses and their employees.
Several services are available including:
Workforce Training Institute
Lake Michigan College’s Workforce Training Institute's programs
promote career enhancement for individuals and continuing success
for their organizations. Our instructor-led, non-credit programs
are offered in a relaxed setting with no tests or grades. Classes
are hands-on and taught by experts who will help you increase
your knowledge and comfort level with the course material.
Contract Training
Community and Business Services and provide customized training
programs and assessments to businesses desiring to strengthen
their regional and economic competitiveness. For more information,

Online Training
Through partnerships with Ed2Go and Gatlin Education, CBS provides
online instruction in a variety of business-related topics.
Community Leadership Academy
The Community Leadership Academy helps cultivate the next generation
of community leaders. The Academy focuses on topics relevant to
our region, and participants walk away with a broad understanding
of the issues facing our region, increased understanding of their
leadership style and an expanded network of colleagues and resources.
