Industrial Maintenance Technician Training Program

Does your mechanical maintenance staff need more training in theory and diagnostic skills? Now they can get that training through the efficient and cost-effective Industrial Maintenance Technician Training Certificate Program (IMT) offered through Lake Michigan College's Community and Business Services group.

Five modules will be offered including:

  • Machine Maintenance
  • Basic Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Industrial Electricity and Electronics
  • Machining
  • Technical Troubleshooting

Each will be offered three times during 2007. It is recommended, but not required, that the Machine Maintenance class be taken first.

Each module may be taken as a stand-alone class, independent of the certificate program.

Upon successful completion of the program, each participant will receive 15.8 CEUs and an Industrial Maintenance Technician certificate from Lake Michigan College's Community and Business Services division. All classes to be held at M-TEC at Lake Michigan College, 400 Klock Road, Benton Harbor, beginning in January 2007. All training materials are included.

MasterTasktm Training: World-class CNC Training
Case study reports over 38 years prove the MasterTasktm approach increases productivity and reduces costs by making sure your machinists get what they need. If there are 10 steps to a procedure, it's impossible to select one or two that are not important for a person to know and understand.

The MasterTasktm 100% solution provides a systematic approach that is easy to use to achieve your "lean" goals. Reports show it will develop new people in less time to higher levels of performance and cut costs by improving existing staff, creating faster set-ups, higher quality, longer tool life, fewer crashes, less machine repair and better employee attitudes. Selecting from popular models of Fanuc, Haas, Mazak or Okuma CNC controls, your trainees learn both the basics and specifics of your machinery.
