- Brachium is upper arm
- Cubital region [anterior depression at elbow joint]
- Antebrachium (forearm)
- Manus
(hand) has palmar surface and dorsum and is subdivided into three parts
- carpus (wrist)
- metacarpus [largest segment of hand with 5 long bones]
- digits [5 fingers]
- Lower Extremity [subdivided joints (hip, knee, ankel)]
- Hip
- Thigh [femoral region]
- knee (patella) is joint between thigh and leg, popliteal [posterior to knee]
- leg (crus) [between knee and ankle]
- Pes (foot) [plantar surface and dorsum] is subdivided into 3 parts:
- tarsus (ankle)
- metatarsus [largest segment of foot; with 5 long bones]
- digits [5 toes]
