- Criminal background check and drug screen test.
All candidacy list requirements must be completed by the last
day of the Winter 2007 semester. Completion of the candidacy list
requirements, as determined by the Pre-Admission Health Science
Audit, places you on the candidacy list, but does not guarantee
a seat in the program.
For applicants on the candidacy list, a program-specific GPA
will be calculated using the following four (4) courses: READ
110, BIOL 205, CHEM 105, and PSYC 201. Admission to the program
is based upon the students with the highest program-specific GPA's.
Should two individuals qualify for the same seat, the cumulative
GPA listed on the LMC transcript will determine the ranking. A
secondary tie breaker will be the score from the Algebra Proficiency
Test or the final examination grade received in the MATH 125 course.
When all the above requirements have
been completed, the student must request a Pre-Admission Health
Science Audit by submitting the audit request form to the Records
Office (form is available from Records Office or Health
Science Office).
