About the Program of Study
The Legal Office Systems program prepares you for a highly skilled job
in the legal profession. You will learn legal machine transcription
and legal office procedures, computer software, keyboarding, and other
business background. Business law will also be covered in the degree
program. As an legal office assistant you may perform a variety of administrative
activities for attorneys, and legal organizations such as Friend of
the Court.

Associate Degree
By completing the 33-credit program in Legal Office Systems, you will
be awarded a Certificate in Applied Business/Legal Office Assistant.
The certificate can be applied to the associate's degree program.
Upon completion of the 61-credit Legal Office Systems program, you
will be awarded an Associate in Applied Business degree. Legal Office
Systems certificate courses may be applied toward the associate's degree
program.
