About the Program of Study
Home Appliance Technologies is designed to train you to work on the appliances that are used to keep the home running on a day to day basis. Your training will help you build that skills necessary to work on dish washers, clothes washers, gas and electric dryers, gas and electric ranges, and refrigerators and freezers. Your training and coursework will occur in the classroom as will as in the laboratory.

Students may receive an Associate in Industrial Technologies in General Technologies by using their certificate classes to meet major requirements. Students should see their advisor to identify additional courses needed to met the 61-credit requirement.

Certificate and Degree Options
This 34-credit certificate will open up a new market for students. The HATS classes are set up to run consecutively for nine months, meeting four days a week for five hours a day.

All students entering the program must have their registrations signed by the department chair.

Upon completion of the certificate, students will be looking at prospective jobs in the fields of service and sales of home appliances.
