About the Program of Study
The Electronics Technology program is designed to train you in basic and advanced electrical fundamentals. Your courses will take place in the
classroom and in the laboratory with hands-on training.

Many of the Electronic Technology courses at Lake Michigan College are offered in an open entry/open exit format at the College's Michigan Technical Education CenterSM (M-TECSM) in Benton Harbor. This flexible class design gives you the freedom to work at a self-paced schedule
and enter and complete classes at any time of the year.

Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to several general scholarships that are based on academic excellence, need, and other criteria, the following scholarships are available to students enrolled in the Electronics Technology program:

  • Elisha Gray II Scholarship
  • Lakeshore Rotary Joe Carver Memorial Scholarship
  • Harry B. Ross Scholarship

Associate Degree
Graduates of the 61-credit program receive an Associate in Industrial Technology Degree.
