Introduction to basic principles and concepts of biology as well as related laboratory experiences. Areas of emphasis include ecology, evolution, unity and diversity of life, organ systems, genetics, cell biology and behavior.

NOTE: Students with two (2) or more years of high school biology should take BIOL 111, BIOL 112, or BIOL 204. Prerequisites: E, R
