Videotape Rentals
The following requirements and hints will enable
you to utilize and return you telecourse rental videotapes successfully.
1. Start with a clean VCR. If your deck has not been cleaned
recently it will not provide a clear image or sound and may damage
the tape. Have your VCR cleaned professionally or consult you
manual for cleaning instructions.
2. After you have inserted the rental tape adjust the tracking
for optimum audio and video quality.
Refer to you VCR manual for further information.
If you observe any problem with the audio or video after adjustments,
return your tapes immediately for a new set.
3. The tapes you have rented may have undetected damage. If you
notice a problem with your rental tape, immediately return the
tapes for a new set.
4. Rewind your tapes fully before you return your rental tapes.
This assists LMC in checking for defects.
5. Return your tapes promptly at the end of the semester you
are enrolled in. This will prevent your deposit from being forfeited
and further assessments from being levied.
