- Must demonstrate financial need

Endowed Scholarship*
Amount: Varies
- For students in the Nursing Program who have completed
the course Fundamentals of Nursing with a grade
of B or better
- Second year students must have a minimum cumulative 3.0
GPA
- Must submit a letter from a clinical instructor indicating
the students excellence and enthusiasm for the nursing
profession and compassion for those for whom they care
- Must submit a letter explaining why the nursing profession
was chosen and how this scholarship will help
- Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA)
Michigan Nursing Scholarship*
Amount: Up to $4,000
- Must be a resident of Michigan
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must have completed at least 8 credit hours of Nursing
courses
- Must write an essay that includes the following
-A paragraph stating why nursing is their chosen
field
-A paragraph stating how the scholarship will help
you
- Preference given to those with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student

Organ Transplants of
Southwestern Michigan/Edward F. Heyn Memorial Scholarship
Amount: Varies
- For a resident of the LMC district
- Must enroll for at least 6 credit hours per semester
- Meets one of the following:
(1) Is an organ donor, organ transplant recipient or a member
of the immediate family of the donor or recipient
OR
(2) Is a student who will enroll in a field of study related
to the medical field, has a minimum high school/college 3.0
GPA, and demonstrates involvement in community or school service
activities, preferably in the medical field
Virginia Kowerduck Scholarship*
Amount: Varies; for Spring semester only
- For LPN students finishing their program during Spring/Summer
semesters
- Demonstrate financial need
- Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student

goals. The required qualifications for each scholarship are

code 002277) as a college you plan to attend.
