Scholarship Detail - Natural Science
Harry B. Ross Scholarship
Amount: Varies, may be used for tuition, fees, or books
- For a returning LMC student pursuing a career in engineering
or the sciences
- Preference will be given to full-time (12 credit hours)
students
- Must have proven him/herself by outstanding work in their
chosen subject
- Must show intelligence, ingenuity, persistence and enthusiasm
for their studies as demonstrated by their grades, and the
recommendations of their teachers
- Do not need to demonstrate financial need to qualify
Harry E. Ross Scholarship
Amount: Varies, may be used for tuition, fees, or books
- For a student pursuing a career in the natural sciences
- Preference given to students planning to teach ecology,
conservation, or work in forestry or agriculture
- Preference will be given to full-time (12 credit hours)
students
- High school and college applicants must have maintained
a minimum cululative 3.0 GPA
- Award based on merit
- Preference will be given to those who demonstrate financial
need.
- Renewable for a second year provided a minimum 2.5 GPA is
maintained
- Do not need to demonstrate financial need to qualify
Lake
Michigan College Scholarships
have been established by generous friends, organizations, businesses,
and LMC to help students succeed in achieving their educational
goals. The required qualifications for each scholarship are listed
below. To apply for a scholarship designated with an asterisk(*)
you must also complete a "Free Application for Federal
Student Aid" (FAFSA -
click for the online version) and indicate LMC (Title IV code
002277) as a college you plan to attend.
