The programs are structured so that you do not need to decide which degree track you want to follow until the end of the first year of classes, giving you the flexibility to decide which program will best fit your needs. Whichever program you choose, be sure to work with an LMC advisor to ensure that your program plan will meet your career or transfer needs. Associate in Business Administration Degree If your goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, the Associate in Business Administration degree allows you to earn the first two years of college requirements in order to transfer to the fouryear college or university of your choice. The program covers the basic business and communications principles that lead to careers in accounting, economics, finance, general business, management, marketing, human resource administration and public relations. For a close-to-home bachelor’s degree option, students can remain at the Bertrand Crossing Campus and complete their Bachelor of Arts in Management and Organizational Development through Spring Arbor University. Associate in Applied Business (AAB) – Management and Marketing The AAB in Management and Marketing is a two-year degree that prepares you for entry-level management positions in areas such as retail and wholesale. If you are employed while taking classes, you can receive up to six credit hours through the program’s co-op courses. If you have extensive work and business experience in a particular area, the program advisor can evaluate your portfolio for Credit for Prior Experiential Learning. Your program advisor can also help you determine if college courses you previously took may apply toward this degree. While it is primarily designed for entrylevel employment preparation, you can use this degree as a transfer program to Spring Arbor University’s Bachelor of Arts in Management and Organizational Development at the Bertrand Crossing Campus.
