Lake Michigan College Student Services Academic Advisors
welcome you to another semester!
Academic Advisors help plan your semester course schedule and assist in mapping out a comprehensive educational plan designed to meet your degree, career, and/or transfer goals. New students taking six or more credits who plan to receive an Associate degree or Certificate, or transfer to a four year institution are required to meet with an Academic Advisor prior to registering for their first semester. All returning students are encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor at least once each semester. Contact a Student Services Academic Advisor directly to schedule an advising appointment or by calling the Student Services Information Desk at 1-800-252-1562 ext. 8128. Please send your questions to an LMC advisor. Or, Read through our Frequently Asked Questions.
Nancy Johnson, M.Ed., Director of Advising and Retention
