    • This is the world's leading classical music label, with a catalogue of over 5000 CDs (80,000 individual tracks) with genres including jazz and world music in addition to the classical core.
    • Playlists allow professors to create listening homework lists. Set timeouts ensure that no one abuses the service.
    • Browse by composer to access composer's biographies.

    • 24,000+ full-text books (eBooks).
    • These titles are copyrighted materials - actual published books available in electronic format to read online. (Create an account on a LMC campus in order to search from off campus.)
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook Revised every two years, the Handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations. Print copy is available in the Hessel Library.
  • Oxford English Dictionary The Oxford English Dictionary is the accepted authority on the evolution of the English language over the last millennium. It is a guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation of over half a million words, both present and past. (database)
  • Oxford Reference Online Premium Contains over 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press. (database)
  • Statistical Abstract of the United States Contains a collection of statistics on social and economic conditions in the United States. A hard copy is available in the Hessel Library.
  • Sourcebook of Criminal Justice Statistics
  • World Almanac (FirstSearch database) A hard copy is available in the library.
  • World Factbook - Online version of the hard copy. Contains information on countries. The information is updated every two weeks. Published by the Central Intelligence Agency.
