Patron Privacy Policy
Confidentiality of patron borrowing records:
In accordance with the Michigan
Library Privacy Act 455, Lake Michigan College Library does
not allow access to a patron’s borrowing records to
anyone else without documented, written consent of the patron
or a court order.
The Library staff has access to these records for administrative
purposes only. The staff adheres to a policy of maintaining
strict confidentiality of patron records. The circulation system
does not keep track of titles patrons have borrowed in the past,
only titles currently on loan or with past fines.
