Career Information

With a two-year degree in management and marketing from Lake Michigan College, you can build a career in business and industry including retail, wholesale, or non-profit organizations. You will be qualified to find employment in areas such as customer service, retail management, and sales.

Customer service representative - Cooperate with customers to provide information in response to questions or concerns about a product or service. Must be able to manage and resolve complaints. read more


Classroom Experience

Co-op experience is a requirement for the Management and Marketing degree program. Additional semesters of co-op are available as a degree elective. Your co-op can either be paid or unpaid. If you are currently employed, it may be possible to work with your employer to structure a plan to meet your co-op requirement. If you are not already employed, look to the Career Services Center for available co-ops, or contact the co-op coordinator for additional resources. Along with the 15 hours of work per week, a one-hour meeting with your co-op coordinator will fulfill the co-op requirements. read more
