LMC Announces 2004-2005 Phi Theta Kappa Inductees

BENTON TOWNSHIP, MI - On Tuesday, April 5, 159 Lake Michigan College students were inducted into the Mu Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international community college honor society.
Chapter officers for 2005-2006 are: Melisa Weir of Berrien Center, president; Allissa Arent of Coloma, vice-resident; Katherine Munchow of Coloma, recording Secretary; Heather Fischer of Coloma, public relations secretary; Katherine Smith of Benton Harbor, secretary of fellowship and service; Mutsa Mutepo of Buchanan, secretary of leadership and scholarship
To be considered for Phi Theta Kappa membership, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.25, attend school full-time or have accumulated 12 or more credit hours. The inductees are:
