Lake Michigan College Announces Incoming 2006/2007 Athletes

BENTON TOWNSHIP, MI - Lake Michigan College has announced that 45 student athletes are joining its intercollegiate athletic program for the 2006-2007 academic year. Of the 45 student athletes, 32 are from within the College's district. The College's program includes women's volleyball, basketball, and softball as well as men's basketball and baseball.

"Our coaches continue to do an excellent job of attracting the top local talent, including northern Indiana and greater southwest Michigan," states Doug Schaffer, LMC athletic director and head coach of the men's basketball team. "We look forward to blending all these men and women into one program and striving to compete on a national level."
