Payment Policy
Tuition and fees must be paid in full by the payment due date
found on your printed schedule, the College's website, and in
the class schedules. If a student
does not make full payment by the due date, the student may be
dropped from all classes. If a student is not able to pay tuition
and fees in full, the student can contact the Business Office
for a brochure on the FACTS payment plan.
By registering for classes at Lake Michigan College, the student
agrees to financial responsibility for all charges on their College
account and promises to pay Lake Michigan College the full amount
of the obligation by the due date. Further, the student agrees
to pay any and all costs, including collection, attorney, and
litigation costs, incurred by Lake Michigan College in its effort
to collect, should the student default on their account.
If someone other than the student is paying tuition, (i.e. company,
school district), authorization to bill tuition and fees to a
third party must be brought to the Business Office no later than
two weeks prior to the beginning of class, or provided at the
time of registration through the last day to add classes. The
normal drop process will apply for all students not providing
the required Third Party Billing Authorization form.
