Enroll in your preferred refund method today!
As a student, Lake Michigan College knows you depend on your school funds. That's why, LMC now offers electronic and paper check disbursement options. It's important you sign up and indicate your preferred refund method. If you do not sign up and you are entitled to a refund, your refund will be sent by mail which can take up to two weeks.
How do I sign up?
Click on Student Refund, or when you are in WaveLink look for the Financial Aid section and click on Student Refund.
If it is your first time visiting the student refund site:
- Click on the "Sign Up!" button and complete the information the site requires to create your user ID and password.
If you are returning to the student refund site:
- Enter your user ID and password to log in.
- Verify all of your contact information. If edits need to be made, log into WaveLink to make corrections. Your information will be pulled and sent to the refund site the next morning.
Make sure you have selected your preferred refund method from the following three options:
Direct Deposit (1-2 business days)
Refunds will be deposited in your existing checking or savings account and will be available in 2-3 business days after processing by Higer One.
Refunds will be deposited into a checking account with Higer One and will be available the same day refunds are processed by Higher One. And may be accessed with your Higher One Card.
Paper Check (7-10 business days)
Refunds will be sent to the address on file via U.S. mail and should be received within 7-10 business days after processing by Higer One.
Remember that if you do not select a refund option, your refund will be a paper check sent in the mail.
