Early College - Cost
Direct credit and dual enrollment classes can save you
money. Some area high schools will pay the tuition and fees associated
with the college classes you are taking. Other schools don't but,
you still come out ahead. If you take direct credit classes, you
and your family pay just 30 percent of full tuition
and fees.* To find out what your school does, check with your
guidance counselor.
If you take dual enrollment classes, full tuition and fees apply
but remember, LMC charges a lot less than four-year schools -
as much as half or even one-third of the cost of universities
in Michigan.
The tuition rate that you pay will also be determined by where
you live or attend school. If you live or attend high school within
Berrien County, Covert Township, or the South Haven School District,
you pay LMC's in-district tuition rate. If you live and attend
a high school outside the district, but within Michigan or the
Indiana counties of St. Joseph, Elkhart, and LaPorte you pay LMC's
Service Area tuition rate.*
