Educational Opportunity Center

If you are an adult over 18 years of age who would like to enroll at a college or university, vocational or technical institute, or enroll in a high school completion or GED program, we can help! We are pleased you are planning to continue your education and wish to assist you with that process. Here are the things we can do to help:

• Provide information on adult education locations and referrals
• Develop an Individualized Educational Development Plan (EDP)
• GED and college admissions/placement tests tutoring
• Provide career information, assessment and advising
• Assist with college and other postsecondary institution research
• Provide financial aid/scholarship information and assistance with the application process
• Assist with the admissions process for postsecondary enrollment
• Assist with the EOC application process
• Refer individuals to other appropriate community service agencies as needed
• Mentoring Services

Located in room C-209, the EOC is a federally-funded program operated by the College that provides information free of charge regarding financial and academic assistance for individuals who wish to pursue a post-secondary program at any college or university.
