Educational Talent Search

Fully funded by the United States Department of Education, Educational Talent Search (ETS) provides supportive services to students, grades 6 through 12, in the Benton Harbor and Covert School Districts. Services provided by ETS include:

• College Campus Visits
• Field trips and cultural visits
• Development of an Individualized Educational Development Plan (EDP)
• ACT test preparation and fee waivers
• Assistance with career information, assessment and advising
• Assistance with college and other postsecondary institution research
• Financial aid/scholarship information and assistance with the application process
• Assistance with the admissions process for postsecondary enrollment
• Referrals to other appropriate community service agencies as needed
• In school workshops on topics such as: test taking skills, time managment, and healthy decision making
