Title VI Of The Civil Rights Act Of 1964
This act provides that no person in the United States shall, on
the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from
participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected
to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal
financial assistance from the Department of Education.
Title IX Of The Education Amendments of 1972
This act prohibits sexual harassment of students in any part of
any higher education institution receiving federal funds, and
requires institutions to maintain grievance procedures capable
of prompt and equitable resolution of sexual harassment complaints.

Section 504 Of The Rehabilitation Act Of 1973
This act assures that no qualified handicapped person shall, on
the basis of handicap, be excluded from participation in, be denied
the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under
any program or activity that receives or benefits from federal
financial assistance.
