Safe and Sound Advice
- Don't leave valuables unattended.
- Stay on lighted walks whenever possible.
- Walk with a friend.
- If confronted, yell or scream; create a commotion; get to
a safe place.
- Keep your car locked and valuables out of sight while parked.
- Carry a flashlight at night.
If you feel your rights are being violated or if you are having
problems, it is important to immediately report the situation
to the appropriate person listed in this document. Lake Michigan
College has policies and procedures to prevent and stop the violation
of your rights. Lake Michigan College complies with requirements
