ACT Prep Workshops
Throughout the academic year, students meet with Upward Staff to take practice ACT tests. The more students practice the testing format, the better prepared they are when they take the actual test. The ACT Testing environment is simulated as much as possible, from Staff acting as test proctors to actual time being allowed for each section. Register on-line to take the ACT Test

Portfolio Workshop
Students are encouraged to build portfolios which outline their skills, academics, and hobbies. During the workshop, students are provided with the objectives for having a porfolio, supplies for upkeeping their portfolios, and portfolio evaluation.

Life Skills Workshops
On Tuesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:00, students may attend these optional workshops. These workshops cover a variety of life skills topics.

Financial Aid Workshop
The Financial Aid Workshop helps seniors and their parents/guardians complete the FAFSA form. Also, the Upward Staff discuss the scholarship hunt and letters of acceptance with attendees.
