Students encouraged to register early for best pick of available courses
The graduating class includes 479 students from 70 cities, seven states and 17 countries who have earned 440 associate degrees, and 47 certificates. Students who are graduating with honors comprise 42% of this year’s class.
Stephen Venable of Lawrence and Aiden Weston of St. Joseph have been selected as the student speakers for Lake Michigan College’s 69th annual commencement exercise being held at the LMC Mendel Center on Sunday, May 1, at 2 p.m.
The Alumni Service Award will be presented to Edward J. Todd of Muskegon. The Clarence Beckwith Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented to Marilyn J. Stolberg, D.D.S. of Big Rapids.
