Courses listed under Art, Communication, English, Foreign Languages, History, Humanities, Music, Philosophy, and Theatre with transferable Humanities credits may be taken as electives for a humanities concentration. Competency in a foreign language is not a degree requirement at Lake Michigan College; however, Humanities majors are urged strongly to complete at least two semesters of French, German, or Spanish. As a Humanities major, you should seek a broad-based education through careful selection of courses under general electives.

Consult a faculty advisor for specific guidance. There is a 60-credit degree requirement needed for graduation.
