Administrative Assistant with the Educational Opportunity Center. The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides counseling and information on GED and college admissions to qualified adults who want to enter or continue a program of postsecondary education. An important objective of the program is to counsel participants on financial aid options, to assist in the applications process, scholarship support, and to increase the number of adults who enroll in postsecondary institutions. This is a federally-funded program that is free of charge for first-generation and/or low-income individuals and is not specific to any particular college; we are housed at Lake Michigan College, but we can help students with the admissions and financial aid process to any school of their choice.
I have two classes to complete before receiving my Associates Degree in Office Administration from Lake Michigan College.
