New Realities, New Thinking

Out of these principles, Lake Michigan College's Diversity Initiative was created.

The Diversity Initiative assists in creating an inclusive and innovative workforce that has the skills to exceed in meeting the challenges of a diverse market place. We are committed and passionate about providing programs and services that are the segue to an inclusive and diverse society.

The Association of Community Colleges Trustees (ACCT) awarded Lake Michigan College as the Central Region 2003 Charles Kennedy Equity Award.
