LMC Summer Registration Opens Monday, March 13

BENTON TOWNSHIP, MI – Students can start signing up for summer school at Lake Michigan College beginning Monday, March 13. U.S. Military veterans, who receive priority registration can enroll in classes beginning March 10.

The summer term begins May 15 and ends August 26. Courses are offered in five, seven, 10, and 14-week sessions. Classes are offered online, on-campus or in a combination thereof.

The class schedule for Benton Harbor, Niles and South Haven campuses is available at lakemichigancollege.edu/schedule.

There can be big advantages to taking summer courses. Recent high school graduates who are college-bound can get a head start, students visiting home from colleges or universities with higher tuition can enroll as summer guest students, saving them money on credits that transfer back. Students who may be struggling academically can spend extra time in small classes to focus on areas of need.

Guest students from other colleges must submit a Michigan Guest Student Application to their college registrar for approval and to ensure class transferability, and then send test scores and college transcripts to LMC prior to registering for classes. Students who are interested in becoming guest students are encouraged to learn more at lakemichigancollege.edu/summer.

All prospective students and guests are invited to attend special monthly Saturday tours at LMC’s Benton Harbor Campus on March 18, April 15, May 20 and June 17 beginning at 11 a.m.

Attendees will learn about the college admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, and can tour facilities including the new Hanson Technology Center and Beckwith Residence Hall.

Admissions information and tour registration is available by calling (269) 926-8626. Tour registration is required.

LMC’s free application is at lakemichigancollege.edu.
