Adequate Enrollment for Courses Not Included in the “Guaranteed to Go” Promise

Courses not included in the “Guaranteed to Go” promise are subject to cancellation for insufficient enrollment prior to the start of class or after the first or second class meeting, and other circumstances that restrict the operation of the College. In the event of class cancellation, adjunct instructors will be paid at the regular contact hour rate for those class sessions conducted.
- If a class is canceled prior to the first meeting and the instructor is notified not to come in, there will be no pay.
- If a class is canceled prior to the first meeting, but the instructor is asked to meet the students for advising, the instructor will be paid for one hour.
- If a class is canceled after the first period but prior to the second class meeting, and the instructor is notified of the cancellation, the instructor will be paid for the time scheduled for the first meeting.
- For classes that must be canceled after the first meeting, instructors will be paid for all scheduled time spent with students.
