Volleyball

2008 Volleyball Team
The Women’s Volleyball team, lead by Head Coach Jim Ragosta, is looking for another triumphant season.  The Indians are looking to their strong sophomore base to add to their incoming freshman class to maintain their strong mentality to continue their winning traditions.

LMC's 2008 Volleyball Season was ranked No. 16 in the Nation for the final NJCAA poll. Congratulations!

Men's Basketball

The Men’s Basketball team has gained 1st year Head Coach Sam Cornett, which has great leadership and experience to lead this program into the future with great success.

Cornett states that, “My coaching philosophy is that defense wins championships, and winning championships is certainly one of the things we want to accomplish here. My coaching staff and I will also focus on helping our student-athletes to not only develop their basketball skills, but develop as fine, young men.”  The knowledge of the returning along with the incoming freshman the program will lay the blue print for the team’s growing successes.

The Women’s Basketball team is looking for a strong season lead by 3rd year Head Coach Jason Cooper.

The returning Lady Indians want to lead off where they ended standing strong in the MCCAA Western Conference.

The team is looking forward to a strong freshman class to aid in the success for the upcoming year. The strengths of the sophomores along with the incoming freshman will continue the winning traditions.

Baseball

The Lake Michigan College Baseball Team ended the season 3rd in the MCCAA Baseball Conference.  Head Coach Scott Ponegalek is looking to his strong sophomore class to bring their leadership skills to the forefront to guide in incoming underclassmen to great strengths.  The team is looking to build upon their success from the year to reach new goals and expectations.

Women's Fast-Pitch Softball

The Lake Michigan College Softball team will be striving for excellence led by returning Head Coach Melissa Grau.   After a season of struggle, Grau will look to the talent of the sophomores and incoming freshman to rebuild the program. The team is looking forward to a successful year.
